Supply List

Please label all of your child’s personal items!

There are lots of great labels out there now that are dishwasher and machine washable. We highly recommend investing in some high quality labels to keep track of your child’s gear. We have personally noticed that these Name Bubble labels stay on, last all year and are easy to read.

Gear Suggestions

In lieu of traditional back to school supplies it is strongly encouraged that you purchase the CWS Suggested Outdoor Gear for your child. Please see the list of suggestions below. Many of these items can be found 2nd hand or off brands. Please reach out if you have any financial difficulties or need support in accessing gear.

Please note, on in-climate weather days, we expect your child to be prepared to go outside with proper gear. We reserve the right to send home any child who is unprepared to be outdoors.

#1 Full Body Rain Suit

This is great to wear on wet, rainy, muddy days. It also works really well on snowy days. You can put this lightweight suit on over your child’s snow gear. This keeps the snow gear warm and dry. It also helps us if we go out multiple times during the morning because this lightweight layer dries much fast then snow gear. There are lots of brands of these type of suits. Click here for a suggestion from Amazon, which is not very expensive and works extremely well!

#2 High Quality Rain and Snow Boots

There are lots of great snow books out there. Please look for a pair that your young child can put on by themselves. We are big fans of the Bogs rain boots. These boots work for rain and snow. Most children 1.5- 5 can pull these boots on and off on their own. Click here for suggestion from Amazon.

#3 Waterproof Mittens

We love waterproof mittens that cinch on the wrist. These help them to stay on while children are playing and exploring. There are plenty of inexpensive options to choose from. Click here for a suggestion from Amazon.

#4 Full Coverage Sun Hat

We highly recommend the Sunday Afternoons sunhat. This is a washable, full coverage sun hat that has a chin safety strap that works well. This hat is lightweight and comfortable. Click here for a link to Amazon.
