Rebecca is a Colorado Native. She began her teaching career in 2008 for a daycare program through the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. In 2009, she took classes at Red Rocks to become a lead teacher. In 2013, she began school at Grand Canyon University with her major in Early Childhood Education. In 2018 she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.
Rebecca enjoys watching each child grow and learn in their own individual ways. Adapting to new environments and building relationships is crucial to a young child’s future. She believes that focusing on their social emotional needs is vital to set them up for success. Her favorite part of the day in her classroom is Art and Exploration time. It is a joy to be able to see the children explore and navigate independently.
In her free time she loves to paint and be creative in her craft room and spend time with her husband and two dogs.
